Outstanding contamination exclusion

With optimized, multiple dirt exclusion lips, a wrap-around sleeve and a patented labyrinth design, it significantly reduces dirt and slurry ingress. Its corrosion-resistant design enhances longevity in adverse conditions.

Secure positioning and leak prevention

Featuring a special EPDM polymer on the inner diameter, it ensures an easy installation and a tight lock on the spindle, eliminating leak paths and securing the seal in place for reliable performance. 

Easy, no special tool installation and single-piece design

The seal’s design simplifies wheel end service, saving time and cost. It combines a sleeve and metal unitizer ring into a self contained unit for easy, damage-free installation.

Scotseal® classic

The SKF Scotseal® Classic is a unitized, one piece design that offers excellent sealing life in a broad range of operating conditions. This seal uses a sealing element that is assembled between a metal outer and inner case. To extend service life, the three-lip sealing element contains a pre-lubed, spring-loaded primary sealing lip, a dirt exclusion lip, and an outer bumper lip. A Bore Tite coating ensures a better seal than a metal-to-metal press fit.

Scotseal® pro

The SKF Scotseal® Classic provides good sealing life under most operating conditions, with advanced new HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) material that resists wheel end temperatures up to 300º F and offers broad compatibility with synthetic lubricants Hand installable, eliminating the need for special size tools.
